JR-194817 Argus Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Argus Support Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Argus Safety application support, configuration, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should possess strong pharmacovigilance system knowledge, expertise in Argus configuration, SQL/PLSQL development, E2B reporting, system integrations, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining system stability, supporting business users, implementing configuration changes, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Bangalore, India -Remote

Key Responsibilities
Application Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Argus Safety and related PV applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues.
• Support end users in case processing, reporting, submissions, and E2B transmissions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  Configuration & Functional Support
• Configure Argus Business and System Configuration modules.
• Manage product, study, license, workflow, and code list configurations.
• Configure and maintain reporting rules, field validations, and business workflows.
• Support MedDRA and WHODrug dictionary upgrades and validation activities.

Technical Development

• Develop and maintain SQL/PLSQL scripts, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Create custom solutions, validations, and automation scripts based on business requirements.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting using SQL.

Regulatory Reporting & Integrations

• Support E2B R2/R3 configuration, testing, transmission, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and resolve gateway-related issues involving Axway, Oracle B2B, or other integration platforms.
• Support FDA, EMA, and global regulatory reporting processes.

Release & Change Management

• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration deployments.
• Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/UAT and regression testing.
• Maintain documentation for changes, SOPs, technical specifications, and validation deliverables.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users, validation teams, vendors, and development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to support and operational teams.
