About the job JR-189589 SAP CIAM Consultant Lead
Hello, our name is Customertimes, but you can call us CT. We are a global digital engineering, product development, and technology consulting company. Headquartered in New York, we have a team of 1000+ experts working across 65+ countries.
About this job:
We are looking for an experienced SAP CIAM Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise-grade Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions. This role combines functional consulting with hands-on technical expertise to deliver secure, scalable customer identity, authentication, and consent management capabilities across digital channels.
In this position, you will design end-to-end SAP Customer Data Cloud solutions, including registration, social login, SSO, consent and preference management, while integrating SAP CDC with SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CX, and third-party systems. You will also drive architecture decisions, support data migration, ensure compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver modern customer identity solutions.
Location:
- Croatia;
- Slovakia;
- Slovenia;
- Czech Republic;
- Romania;
- Hungary;
- Bulgaria;
- Lithuania;
- Latvia;
- Poland;
- Spain.
How you'll make an impact:
- Design, configure, and deliver end-to-end SAP CIAM / Customer Data Cloud solutions — registration-as-a-service (RaaS), social and federated login, SSO, progressive profiling, consent and preference management;
- Make and own design and architecture decisions, capturing them in clear Functional and Technical Design Documentation (FDD/TDD);
- Configure schemas, policies, screen-sets, data flows, webhooks, and extensions; build and customize WebSDK / Web Screen-Sets implementations with client- and server-side code;
- Plan and execute migration of existing accounts, subscriptions and user registration records into the SAP CDC platform, and design scheduled batch ETL processes to synchronize data with auxiliary systems;
- Integrate SAP CDC with the wider SAP CX portfolio (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud) and non-SAP systems, using middleware such as SAP Integration Suite / CPI;
- Translate business and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, and similar) into compliant identity and consent designs;
- Enable client development teams: share reusable client- and server-side code examples and guide configuration during Waterfall or Agile implementation cycles;
- Support pre-sales and solutioning where required: estimates, demos, and workshop facilitation.
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience, especially in identity and access management, with demonstrable hands-on delivery on SAP Customer Data Cloud / SAP CIAM in production environments;
- Strong relevant functional knowledge: able to lead requirement-gathering and design identity, authentication, consent and preference journeys;
- Strong technical configuration and development skills: schemas, policies, screen-sets, extensions, webhooks, and the WebSDK; front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, and a JS framework such as React/Angular) and at least one server-side platform (Node.js, Java, .NET, or PHP);
- Solid understanding of identity standards and protocols — OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSO;
- Experience integrating CDC with websites/portals, SAP Commerce Cloud and/or other SAP CX or other systems;
- Strong stakeholder communication in English, with the ability to drive tasks independently from start to completion within global virtual teams.
Highly desirable / strong advantage:
- Good working knowledge of the SAP BTP security framework — Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), Authorization & Trust Management, destinations, and BTP–CDC integration patterns;
- Relevant SAP certification in SAP Customer Data Cloud / SAP Customer Experience;
- Experience with B2B CIAM on SAP CDC;
- Experience working in Agile delivery and in regulated-industry compliance contexts.
