JR-195015 Data Engineer Senior

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical analytics program focused on building modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise reporting solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Location

Bangalore, India (Hybrid/Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Execute the various software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including user stories, use cases, software requirements, design, development and testing
• Implement and maintain software products ensuring the effectiveness of the quality
• Develop test plans and test cases for software components
• Design and implement the optimal data pipeline to ingest and orchestrate the data in Azure to fulfill the business requirements.

Required Technical Skills:

As part of Analytics team the Analytics Azure Data Engineer must possess following skills:

• Experience with Azure data services including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Pipelines, Synapse Analytics is mandatory.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Py-Spark or Spark-SQL.
• Expertise to develop reports/dashboards in Power BI.
• Expertise to troubleshoot performance issues & optimize the Azure models, reports & dashboards.
• Should have exposure to work in Cognitive Services, Log analytics, Function app, Logic App and so on.
• Should have strong analytical skill.
• Preferred Microsoft Certified Data Engineers.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, relational databases, and data warehousing, plus ETL design
• Should have good communication skill to interact with different stakeholders.
