About the job JR-204289 MuleSoft Integration Architect Technical
Hello, our name is Customertimes, but you can call us CT. We are a global digital engineering, product development, and technology consulting company. Headquartered in New York, we have a team of 1000+ experts working across 65+ countries.
About this job:
We are seeking a seasoned Integration Engineer/MuleSoft Architect to join our consulting practice and serve as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients undergoing digital transformation. You will design, build, and lead the delivery of complex integration solutions - spanning iPaaS platforms, point integrations, and API-led architectures across a portfolio of large-scale client engagements. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you will own technical discussions from discovery through production go-live.
Location: LATAM, but able to work with US based clients and stakeholders
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead end-to-end integration delivery for enterprise clients — from requirements discovery and solution design through development, testing, and production deployment;
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact in customer-facing engagements; facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder presentations with both technical and business audiences;
- Architect and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform;
- Design and execute point-to-point and event-driven integrations connecting CRM, ERP, HRIS, ITSM, and custom applications via REST, SOAP, SFTP, messaging queues, and webhooks;
- Leverage secondary iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, AWS Integration Services) as dictated by client environment and use case;
- Apply Salesforce platform knowledge (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Events, Connected Apps, Named Credentials) to deliver end-to-end Salesforce-centric integration patterns;
- Develop reusable integration assets, templates, and runbooks to accelerate delivery across client projects;
- Conduct code reviews and enforce integration best practices;
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Solution Architects to scope integration workstreams, identify risks, and manage client expectations;
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, RFP responses, and effort estimation.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration, with at least 3 years on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform;
- Demonstrated background in a consulting firm, systems integrator, or professional services organization delivering integration solutions for large, complex client environments;
- Proven customer-facing experience, independently leading technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and executive presentations;
- Expertise in API-led connectivity design patterns; experience building and publishing System, Process, and Experience APIs;
- Hands-on experience with point-to-point integrations across multiple protocols: REST, SOAP, SFTP/MFT, JDBC, JMS/messaging, and event-based patterns;
- Proficiency with at least one additional iPaaS platform: Workato, AWS EventBridge / Step Functions, SAP BTP, Boomi, Celigo, or equivalent;
- Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce platform beyond MuleSoft, including data model, APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming), Connected Apps, and Clouds (Sales, Service, or Experience);
- Solid understanding of integration security: OAuth 2.0, mTLS, API gateway policies, and secrets management;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration delivery;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into clear business language.
You are a star if you have:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA) credential;
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Integration Architecture Designer certification;
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks in a consulting or managed services context;
- Familiarity with data transformation standards: JSON, XML, CSV, Avro, Parquet;
- Exposure to real-time data streaming patterns (Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Salesforce Platform Events / CDC);
- Background in pre-sales or solution scoping, including integration effort estimation and proposal writing;
- Experience across multiple industry verticals (Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, or Public Sector).
