About the Role: 

The role is part of a D365 Finance & Operations implementation and optimization project, working closely with the Finance Business Owner and collaborating with the external implementation partner to ensure business requirements are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation Support

  • Partner with project teams and the Finance Business Process Owner (BPO) to design, configure, and implement finance processes in D365.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Tax).
  • Review and challenge proposed solutions from the integrator to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Validate functional requirements and ensure proper documentation.
  • Participate in testing phases (UAT, SIT) and support issue resolution.

Process Optimization

  • Analyze proposed finance processes and propose improvements leveraging D365 capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Maintenance & Support

  • Provide second-level support for AX2012 and D365 finance-related issues.
  • Ensure efficient management of incidents
  • Monitor change requests backlog.
  • Assist in troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for patches, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Keep up to date documentation.

Training & Change Management

  • Support finance users on D365 functionalities.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.


Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Ability to challenge external partners and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, business teams, and external partners.
  • Fluent in English
