About this job:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and work on the development, integration, and support of SAP ERP solutions. The role is primarily focused on SAP ECC, custom ABAP development, and integrations with external systems.

You will work closely with SAP functional consultants and integration teams to design and implement reliable technical solutions, develop new functionality, maintain existing applications, and troubleshoot complex issues.

How you'll make an impact:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP solutions within the SAP ECC environment;
• Develop reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows using standard SAP development technologies;
• Design and maintain integrations between SAP ERP and external applications using BAPIs, RFC-enabled function modules, and SOAP Web Services;
• Develop service wrappers around standard BAPIs to enable external systems to create, update, and process business documents in SAP;
• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound ABAP interfaces for data exchange with external systems;
• Support SAP integration and process automation scenarios and contribute to the technical design of integration solutions;
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and optimization of existing ABAP developments and interfaces;
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and integration teams to translate business and integration requirements into effective technical solutions;
• Follow SAP development standards, naming conventions, transport procedures, coding best practices, and technical documentation requirements;
• Provide ongoing technical support for SAP ECC applications, interfaces, and custom developments.

What makes you a great fit:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, preferably in an SAP ECC environment;
• Strong knowledge of ABAP development and standard SAP development concepts;
• Practical experience with BAPIs, RFC-enabled function modules, and SOAP Web Services;
• Experience developing SAP interfaces and integrations with external systems;
• Good understanding of data structures, debugging, error handling, and performance optimization in ABAP;
• Experience with standard ABAP development objects such as reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, conversions, and workflows;
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into robust and maintainable SAP solutions;
• Experience working with SAP functional consultants and cross-functional technical teams;
• Good understanding of SAP transport processes, development standards, and technical documentation;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Good spoken and written English;
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a project environment.

You are a star if you have:

• Experience with SAP integration technologies and enterprise integration platforms;
• Knowledge of IDocs and other SAP integration mechanisms;
• Experience with REST APIs in addition to SOAP Web Services;
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP for SAP HANA;
• Knowledge of ABAP Objects, OOP principles, and modern ABAP development practices;
• Experience working on SAP ERP integration projects with external business applications;
• Experience in international or client-facing consulting environments.
