Job (Project) Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our global Finance team. This role is focused on working with large volumes of financial data, supporting budgeting and reporting processes, and improving internal financial workflows in a fast-paced IT consulting environment.

As a Financial Controller, you will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and Business teams to ensure accuracy of financial data, support reporting processes, and provide meaningful insights for decision-making. A key part of this role is not only maintaining existing processes, but also identifying inefficiencies and improving them, especially when working with complex datasets.

This position is ideal for someone who combines a strong finance background with advanced data analysis and automation skills, and is passionate about optimizing processes, improving workflows, and working independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Controller

Controls & Accounting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year data for management reporting;
  • Responsible for all key financial controls;
  • Monitoring accounting operations including payroll;
  • Compiling financial data, monthly/quarterly P&L reviews and variance analyses;
  • Works closely with statutory accounting/tax team;
  • Monitoring financial transactions, approving invoices;
  • Business analysis;
  • ERP, reporting and other software rollouts.

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Business budgeting;
  • Preparing financial projections, taking part in financial planning;
  • Tax planning;
  • Implements initiatives to address local financial challenges.

Operations

  • Drives operational efficiency of BackOffice functions and helps deliver new operating model
  • Identifies and implements system/procedural/communication improvements.
  • Partners with local teams on cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Qualification:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience on controlling; 
  • Higher financial (economic, accounting and audit) education;
  • Good knowledge of Management Accounting;
  • Understanding of accounting postings;
  • Structured thinking, ability to draw business conclusions based on data and suggest improvements;
  • Deep knowledge in financial analytics, financial management, financial flow management;
  • Experience in budgeting, cost calculation;
  • Skills in creating and controlling financial statements;
  • Soft skills: high analytical skills, attentiveness, ability to work with large amounts of information, team player, ability to determine priorities, compliance with deadlines, sociability, stress resistance, initiative, focus on the final result;
  • Hard Skills: MS Office, Excel Expert Advisor, Power Query, Python is a must, QB, SAP - is a plus;
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English;
