Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Platform Support Engineer to support and maintain cloud-based applications and microservices platforms. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of cloud technologies, DevOps concepts, Java-based microservices, and database fundamentals to ensure smooth platform operations and issue resolution.

Production & Platform Support

• Provide production and platform support for cloud-hosted applications and microservices
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure platform availability and stability
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution processes

Microservices & Application Support

• Support Java-based microservices by analyzing logs, identifying issues, and coordinating fixes with development teams
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and understand core cloud infrastructure concepts

DevOps & Cloud Collaboration

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and automation activities
• Execute basic SQL queries and support database-related troubleshooting and validation tasks

Documentation & Process

• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and operational guidelines

Requirements:

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
• Understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring tools
• Basic to intermediate Java knowledge for supporting Java microservices
• Good understanding of databases, SQL queries, and basic data concepts
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
• Experience in application support or production support environments
