About the Role

The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest journey at every touchpoint. The role includes leading a high-performing team, upholding the highest standards of hospitality, and helping to drive innovation and efficiency across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in leading all aspects of the restaurants operations and service strategy.
  • Oversee daily service, ensuring excellence, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the guest experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage the front-of-house team, with a strong focus on training and performance development.
  • Maintain and refine service standards in line with the restaurants philosophy.
  • Manage guest relations, handle feedback with discretion, and ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and sommelier teams on menu briefings, wine pairings, and service flow.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, staff scheduling, and departmental coordination.
  • Uphold health and safety standards and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
