Bar Manager
About the job Bar Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire bar operations including revenue & cost management, people management, procurement management and customer service management
- Creation of cocktail menu based in seasonality and high quality produce.
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
- Oversee bar team including but not limited to talent management, performance management, training and development, compensation and disciplinary matters
- Motivate and lead the team members to meet organizational goals
- Ensure team member is scheduled according to forecasted revenue, and established labor cost goals are maintained
- Manage food and hygiene procedures in order to ensure the cleanliness of the bar in a high hygiene standard
- Maintain equipment in good repair and all venues in perfect conditions
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in business administration or hospitality/restaurant management
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as Bar manager
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Good financial management skills
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Computer literacy
- Holder of HKID or valid work permit in Hong Kong is required
