Job Description:
The organization is seeking experienced Chef de Parties (CDPs) to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the Dim Sum section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation are consistently delivered to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to the restaurant's standards
- Work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard and on time
- Manage stock levels and order supplies as required
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Chinese kitchen
- Experience managing a section of the kitchen
- A passion for food and a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
