Animal Keeper (Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Section)

Job Summary

• Animal husbandry including cleaning and diet preparation;
• Perform cleaning of animal facilities surrounding areas and maintenance of equipment within the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Section;
• Assist, Support and stand in for the section Senior Animal Keeper(s) when required. Assist in the allocation of general works when the direct supervisor is absent and ensure work is carried out appropriately, standards are maintained and animals under the team care are healthy.

Job requirements

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values;
• At least 1 year relevant working experience, with hands-on experience in animal husbandry preferred;
• Possess a qualification in biological science, animal husbandry or related subjects will be an advantage;
• Preferably bilingual in both written and spoken Cantonese and English, Mandarin will be an advantage;
• Basic computer literacy;
• Physically fit to work in outdoor environment and in adverse weather;
• Willing to work in weekends and public holidays;
• Able to work independently and also work in team;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Honest, responsible and friendly;
• Valid HK driving license preferable;
• Willing to learn.

動物護理員 (野生動物拯救復康組)動物保育部

工作概要

• 動物護理工作，包括清潔及預備食物;
• 負責清洗野生動物拯救組管理的動物住所及其周邊地區，並確保所有用具能正常運作;
• 有需要時，為該組之督導員提供協助及支援，包括協助分配組內的工作，並確保工作正確地完成及維持應有的水準。

工作要求

• 能配合本園之使命、願景及價值;
• 有1年或以上動物護理工作經驗優先;
• 修畢生物科學 、動物護理證書或相關課程優先考慮;
• 能以中、英語溝通及書寫優先;
• 對電腦運用有基本認識;
• 體能可應付在惡劣天氣下的戶外工作;
• 願意於星期日及假期上班;
• 能獨立工作及具良好的團隊合作精神;
• 有良好溝通及人際關係技巧;
• 誠實、盡責及友善;
• 持有效香港輕型貨車駕駛執照者優先考慮;
