Senior Animal Keeper (Live Educational Displays Section)

Job Summary

• All aspects of wildlife husbandry & care, including hygiene, nutrition and behavioural management. The LED section consists of a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. Staff are required to be familiar with the operational works in all areas;
• Contribute to educational programs for visitors, including public talks, tours of facilities etc.

Job requirements

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organisation.
• DSE or above and minimum 1 year of animal related experience, prior animal husbandry experience and interest in wildlife preferred;
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors;
• Bilingual; Cantonese and English, both spoken and written;
• Good communication skills, able to work well independently and in a team environment;
• Basic computer literacy;
• Comfortable with public speaking.

高級動物護理員 (生物教育展覽組)動物保育部

工作概要

• 照顧生物教育展覽組展館內動物之起居飲食、清潔籠舍、觀察動物行為。負責動物包括：哺乳類動物、雀鳥、爬行動物和昆蟲。員工必須熟悉各範疇的工作程序；
• 參與公眾教育活動，包括有關野生動物講座和向參觀者提供動物講解。

工作要求

• 能配合本園之使命、願景及價值；
• 至少1年或以上與動物工作相關的經驗，有動物護理經驗和喜愛野生動物者會優先考慮；
• 體能可應付在惡劣天氣下的戶外工作；
• 良好的中文溝通及書寫能力。能以英語溝通及書寫優先考慮；
• 良好的團隊工作能力；
• 對電腦運用有基本認識；
• 有信心對公眾作動物講解。
