Hostess Restaurant

Position: Hostess Restaurant Hotel

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join a restaurant team. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and seat them at their designated tables

- Take reservations and manage the waitlist to ensure efficient seating

- Provide menus and explain menu items to guests

- Answer any questions or concerns guests may have

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service

- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

- Upsell menu items and promote restaurant specials

- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately

- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer service role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise

- Knowledge of restaurant operations and menu items

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
