Contract: Full-time, B2B / Independent Contractor

Salary: 50-60K$ gross per year

With 500,000+ users already onboarded, Hub is backed by Tier-1 founders and C-level leaders and is rapidly scaling its decentralized infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Core ML Development

  • Design, train, and optimize traditional ML models on multimodal datasets (audio, video, text, images).
  • Implement robust evaluation, testing, and monitoring pipelines.

Data Engineering & Pipelines

  • Build and maintain scalable data ETN/ETL pipelines for continuous ingestion and cleaning of petabyte-scale datasets.
  • Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
  • Contribute to B2B pipeline by working on specific client use cases, occasionally owning projects end-to-end in collaboration with the sales team.

Backend & APIs

  • Develop and maintain FastAPI microservices to serve ML models and datasets in production.
  • Integrate with internal services and external clients securely and efficiently.

Cross-Team & Mentored Collaboration

  • Work closely with our senior Data Scientist to refine approaches, validate models, and accelerate learning.
  • Collaborate with full-stack engineers and DevOps to ship reliable, high-performance ML services.

R&D & Continuous Improvement

  • Explore new algorithms and multimodal techniques, benchmarking and adopting best-in-class open-source tools.

Required Skills

  • ~3+ years professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with a focus on traditional ML (classification, detection, clustering, time-series, etc.)
  • Hands-on ML experience across audio, video, transcription, NLP, and images (direct multimodal experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong Python skills and ability to build production backends with FastAPI
  • Proven ability to design and maintain data ETN/ETL pipelines for large-scale ingestion and processing
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or willingness to learn (big plus for cross-stack collaboration)
  • Eagerness to work side-by-side with an experienced Data Scientist who will guide and challenge you to push state-of-the-art solutions
