Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Reporting Coordinator to prepare and manage daily operations reports from the field. These reports sometimes called tour sheets or drilling summaries record key activities, progress, and events from each work shift. The ideal candidate will have strong English reading and writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior oilfield experience is an asset, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and distribute daily operations reports based on information from field crews.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into spreadsheets and internal systems.
  • Communicate with field and office staff to confirm or clarify details in reports.
  • Maintain organized digital records for easy access and compliance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues via Microsoft Teams to share updates and coordinate tasks.
  • Use Excel for compiling, analyzing, and presenting operational data.
  • Meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks at once.

Qualifications

  • Strong English reading and writing skills (including technical terminology).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate with data entry.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with oilfield operations or past experience preparing field shift reports.
