Product Development Engineer

Planning/monitoring and execution of under development parts as per departmental PFC and SOPs.
Make tooling development by using in house as well as outsource facilities.
Prepare all the documents for each individual part, said in the departmental PFC and SOPs.
Vendor visit for progress monitoring of tooling development.
Conduct the development visit at the customer premises to share project progress.
Feed back/status update to customer about development of parts.
Safe keeping and control of all relevant development record.
Implementation, achievement and control of QMS/EMS in working areas.
Analyse customer product specifications and applicable regulations /legislations for their area of the programme
Define the product functional analysis (based on standard) to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear productperformance criteria.
Agree the material choice proposed is able to meet mechanical performance requirements.
Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation associated with the analysis process
Participate in DFMEA processes (based on standards) and make sure tests that are identified as recommended actions are incorporated
Support design review and contribute to achievement of Engineering Milestones as well as Customer Program Milestones
Any other special duty assigned by Deputy Manager by following/considering the departmental SOPs.
