Profile Description

QA Engineer (Automation)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.

• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on risk analysis and business impact.

• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with developers to understand technical implementation details and ensure adequate test coverage.

• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software.

• Investigate and reproduce reported issues, working closely with the development team to facilitate resolution.

• Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and patterns to drive continuous improvement efforts.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on test automation.

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, JUnit, TestNG).

• Proficiency in writing and executing automated test scripts.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).

• Familiarity with API testing and tools.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
