Were Looking For an Internal Control Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Control Officer to lead key control, reconciliation, and compliance processes within the company. This role will be essential to ensure the accuracy of accounting records, the integrity of administrative procedures, and compliance with both internal standards and external requirements.
What Youll Be Doing
Account Reconciliation and Financial Controls

Perform weekly bank and cash reconciliations, identifying discrepancies.

Reconcile prepaid and credit cards monthly.

Record and reconcile journal entries related to:

National, provincial, and municipal taxes
-
Salaries, bonuses, severance payments, and social contributions
-
Investment funds and bonds
-
Executive expenses, insurance, grants (e.g., ProCórdoba, MinCyT), and banking costs

Raise alerts and notifications in case of deviations or errors.
Contract Oversight for US-based Contractors
-
Draft and manage new and renewal service contracts.

Monitor contract expiration dates and update tracking spreadsheets.

Coordinate with management to ensure documentation compliance.
Data and Information Audit

Verify correct data entry and naming standards in spreadsheets and systems.

Ensure the completeness and proper backup of processed documentation.
Administrative Process Audit

Set up periodic reviews with stakeholders involved in core administrative processes.

Document and propose improvements to internal procedures.
Public Entity and Legal Procedures

Manage documentation and follow-ups with entities such as LEC, MiPyme, RUMP, ProCórdoba, MinCyT, and local municipalities.

Track deadlines for government certificates and benefits.

Maintain legal books and support documentation required by institutional clients.
Management Reporting

Prepare monthly financial reports:

Profit & Loss statements per business unit

Summary reports with monthly performance variations

Internal and External Collaboration
-
Provide technical and documentary support to external legal, accounting, and tax advisors.

Prepare data for audits, presentations, and special requests.

Maintain close communication with internal departments to meet financial and administrative needs.
Administrative Support

Oversee and understand the end-to-end administrative process.

Collaborate with purchasing, payments, collections, and accounting functions.

Manage petty cash and banking transactions as needed.

Upload data to internal systems and monitor deadlines for all financial obligations.
What You Bring
-
Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (required)

Intermediate or advanced English proficiency (required)
Experience with reconciliations, accounting records, and internal control

Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Familiarity with accounting software and document management systems

Nice to have: Basic knowledge of scripts or automation tools
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
