Dash-Recruits is partnering with a Dubai-based brand that is scaling fast and producing content daily. Were replacing an underperforming editor and were done with slow, dated, TV-style cuts.
We're looking for a Video Editor who lives in the world of digital ads:
- short form, premium feel, aggressive hook, fast cut, clean overlays the kind of creative that sells.
- Your core mission
- Take raw footage (shot in Dubai by our in-house team) and build scroll-stopping ad creatives for social and paid channels.
- Cut for retention: hook in the first seconds, pace that never drags, clear story.
- Add tasteful motion graphics / kinetic text / callouts to elevate the asset, not cheapen it.
- Deliver output that looks modern and premium brand, not like a low-budget TV commercial.
- You are not being asked to shoot. You are not being asked to concept a full TVC. You are the post-production brain that makes our product look desirable in-feed.
What you bring
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere / After Effects (or equivalent pro tools).
- You've edited real ads for products or services not just moody reels and wedding montages.
- You understand the difference between Instagram/TikTok paid creative vs. long-form YouTube vs. TV. You know that ad creative is about conversion, not about ego.
- You can build clean, sharp visual language: typography overlays, animated text, callouts, pacing, transitions.
- You respond to feedback logically, not defensively. High ego is a deal-breaker here.
Huge plus
You can do light motion graphics on top of editing. We don't need full-blown 3D just enough motion design to make the ad feel alive and expensive.
How we'll work together
- All footage is shot and shared with you. You deliver the cut.
- You'll work directly with the Founder for feedback and direction. Expect fast loops, not corporate committees.
- You'll be trusted quickly if you ship quality.
Compensation
- We'e flexible and we will pay for the right person.
- Ongoing increases are performance-based and can happen within the first few months, not after one year.
Hiring process
- Portfolio / reel review. We want to see actual ad-like content for products/services, not just cinematic edits.
- Short test: ~10 seconds from provided raw footage to finished paid-style clip. If you refuse to test, were not a match.
- Final conversation with the Founder (culture fit, flexibility, expectations). Thats it.
