Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Microsoft Solution Sales Specialist to join our System Integration sales team in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in solution sales, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to drive business growth by aligning Microsoft solutions with customer business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Delivery & Growth

    • Create and execute effective solution sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

    • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, regularly updating forecasts.

    • Ensure delivery against agreed business growth and strategy objectives, with accountability for Microsoft-related targets.

  • Strategic Sales Leadership

    • Lead the full sales and after-sales cycle for strategic Microsoft solutions.

    • Support Account Managers during presales and sales processes, including proposals, presentations, cost-benefit analysis, and contract negotiations.

    • Work closely with Technical Solution Professionals to follow up on opportunities and close deals.

  • Client Relationship Management

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.

    • Understand customer needs and commercial strategies to identify upselling opportunities.

    • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and business expansion.

  • Business Development

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Consumer Goods sector and beyond.

    • Build strong partnerships with customers, vendors, and local stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth.

  • Microsoft Partnership Management

    • Maintain close collaboration with Microsoft, staying updated on programs, partnerships, and conditions.

    • Ensure compliance with partnership requirements across the sales team.

  • Business & Team Management

    • Develop and maintain Solution Sales Plans for assigned territories.

    • Align objectives with local Account Managers, BU Managers, and leadership teams.

    • Organize quarterly deep-dive sessions to set new sales goals and generate opportunities.

    • Maintain accurate CRM data to support decision-making on resources and investments.

    • Coordinate with and support a small sales team (34 people) focused on Microsoft solutions.

  • Solution Expertise & Development

    • Maintain an advanced understanding of Microsoft solutions and their business impact.

    • Collect and share customer feedback to help refine solutions to evolving needs.

    • Represent the company at marketing and industry events as required.

  • Reporting & Planning

    • Participate in regular business reviews and planning sessions.

    • Support sales budgeting activities and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in solution sales with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

  • Strong consultative selling skills, able to understand and translate customer business needs.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong pipeline management and business forecasting abilities.

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Seniority level: minimum 7-10 years of relevant sales experience.

  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
