Cloud Security Engineer with German

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with German language skills to support strategic and operational security initiatives in an evolving technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Security: Support security initiatives related to cloud environments, ensuring that security requirements and best practices are considered during the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-based solutions.
• Agentic AI Security: Contribute to the assessment of security risks associated with Agentic AI solutions, AI-enabled workflows, and integrations with external tools and services.
• Threat Modeling: Identify potential threats, attack vectors, and security weaknesses in applications, systems, and architectures, and support the definition of appropriate mitigation measures.
• Vulnerability Management: Assist with identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and tracking vulnerabilities, working with relevant technical teams to support timely remediation.
• SaaS Security and Integrations: Support the security assessment of SaaS platforms, third-party integrations, and connected services, with a focus on identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Security Consulting: Provide security guidance and recommendations to technical teams and stakeholders, helping them understand security requirements and implement appropriate controls.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Contribute to security reviews, risk assessments, and the development of actionable recommendations to address identified security gaps.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with existing security specialists, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to support both strategic security initiatives and day-to-day operational activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Help improve security processes, methodologies, and documentation in response to emerging technologies, evolving threats, and changing business requirements.

Required Skills:

• Experience in IT security, information security, cloud security, or a related cybersecurity domain.

• Understanding of cloud security principles, security controls, and common risks associated with cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security risk assessment methodologies.
• Understanding of Security by Design principles and secure architecture practices.
• Awareness of emerging security challenges related to Agentic AI, AI-enabled applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess security risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain security concepts and recommendations clearly.
• German language proficiency, enabling effective communication with German-speaking stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with existing security experts and cross-functional teams.
