Position: Oracle Data Integrator 

Location: On-site Bucharest, Romania (5 days per week at partner facilities)

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to join an enterprise data team in Bucharest, working fully on-site at our partners facilities.

The selected professional will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of data integration solutions, ensuring efficient ETL processes, reliable data pipelines, and high-performance data warehouse operations. The role requires hands-on experience with ODI 12c, PL/SQL development, and data warehouse performance tuning, along with strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c), including mappings, interfaces, packages, procedures, and load plans.

  • Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages to support complex data transformation and loading processes.

  • Develop and maintain data models for the enterprise data warehouse and ensure data consistency and scalability.

  • Manage end-to-end ETL processes from data extraction in source systems to transformation and loading in destination environments.

  • Optimize data warehouse performance, ETL jobs, and SQL queries to ensure reliability and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate the data warehouse and ETL components with other enterprise systems.

  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective technical data solutions.

  • Participate in data validation, performance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and accuracy across the integration lifecycle.

  • Support the continuous improvement of data integration standards, automation, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c) in large-scale data environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL programming, including query optimization and debugging.

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining data models and ETL pipelines for enterprise data warehouses.

  • Solid understanding of data architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.

  • Familiarity with data replication tools such as Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Guard.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand complex systems and business requirements and translate them into scalable data integration solutions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

  • Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with data warehouse automation, data quality frameworks, or metadata management tools.

  • Exposure to cloud-based data environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Azure Data Factory).

  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and visualization.

Contract Type

  • Engagement Model: Full Time - CIM

  • Location: On-site in Bucharest (5 days/week) presence at partner facilities is mandatory.

  • Working Language: Romanian and English.
