Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool), low-code development, and data vault methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring data reliability and performance across the organization. A strong understanding of data modeling, forward engineering practices, and modern cloud platforms is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using DBT and low-code tools

  • Apply forward engineering techniques to enforce data consistency, quality, and scalability

  • Implement data vault modeling techniques to structure and manage enterprise data

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that meet business needs

  • Monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure high performance and fault tolerance

  • Document data models, transformations, and workflows to support transparency and reusability

Required Skills and Experience

  • 57 years of experience in a data engineering or related technical role

  • Hands-on experience with DBT and low-code development environments

  • Strong understanding of forward engineering and data pipeline development

  • Proven experience with data vault methodologies and data modeling

  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management systems

  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment

  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices is preferred
