Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to support operations within a Red Hat-based enterprise environment. This role involves managing system operations, supporting automation of technical processes, and ensuring compliance with ITIL procedures. The successful candidate will work independently and contribute to the stability, automation, and efficiency of the Linux systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Linux systems, with a focus on Red Hat distributions

• Automate technical operations using scripting and automation tools such as Automic

• Manage system configurations and execute standard operating procedures

• Contribute to the development and implementation of automation strategies

• Ensure compliance with ITIL-based system management and incident handling processes

• Collaborate with technical teams to optimize and secure Linux infrastructure

• Maintain system documentation and support audits or compliance reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable technical qualification

• Several years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat)

• Strong scripting capabilities (e.g., Bash, Python) and knowledge of automation tools such as Automic

• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes

• Good understanding of automated technical operations

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English

• Independent, responsible work ethic and strong decision-making skills

• Confident and assertive in professional interactions
