Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator to manage and optimize a virtualized Windows Server environment. This role involves hands-on administration of Microsoft systems, automation of operational tasks, and contributing to reliable IT service delivery. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and confident in cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and support Windows Server environments, with a focus on Windows Server 2016 and newer

  • Administer virtualized infrastructures, especially using Hyper-V and Microsoft Cluster technologies

  • Automate system operations using PowerShell and other scripting tools

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based system management processes

  • Monitor, maintain, and improve technical operational workflows

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to compliance activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a virtualized Windows Server environment or equivalent qualification

  • Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016 and above

  • Proficiency in Hyper-V and Microsoft Cluster architecture

  • Solid PowerShell scripting skills

  • Understanding of system automation and operational workflows

  • Familiarity with system management tools and ITIL processes

  • Good communication skills in both German and English

  • Independent and responsible working style

  • Confident and assertive in professional environments
