Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Application Owner to serve as the functional and technical contact for a suite of internal software tools. The role involves the coordination of software lifecycle activities, collaboration with users and stakeholders, vendor interaction, and release management. This position also benefits from a basic technical mindset and experience in QA and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the functional and technical point of contact for users and internal stakeholders

Support the software selection process and define requirements in collaboration with users

Coordinate software release cycles, including:

Gathering internal approvals (e.g. ISO, Data Protection)

Defining and supporting pilot groups
-
Executing release tests on target environments
-

Support application packaging processes and maintain vendor communication
-
Clarify and manage licensing models and compliance aspects
-
Address users' functional needs with a strong understanding of technical/engineering context

Provide basic technical support and maintain related documentation
Requirements:

Familiarity with installation and configuration of enterprise software tools
-
Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
-
Experience or exposure to QA/Testing, with a preference for test automation over manual testing

Good knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools

Experience with Remedy is a plus

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Fluency in German and English
-
Strong self-management and ability to work in less structured environments
