Dynatrace DevOps Engineer E2E Monitoring

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Dynatrace DevOps Engineer to join the Global E2E Monitoring team and contribute to the design, optimization, and support of monitoring solutions for cloud-native and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Dynatrace, combined with strong DevOps and infrastructure engineering capabilities. This is a long-term freelance engagement with high visibility across development, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Dynatrace trainings, workshops, and webinars

  • Advise on best practices for Dynatrace implementation and optimization in cloud-native and hybrid architectures

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of large-scale platforms using SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS

  • Provide technical support and consultancy for Dynatrace tools within the Global E2E Monitoring service

  • Build and maintain complex dashboards that align with business goals

  • Maintain and produce accurate documentation, including user guides, process flows, and technical specifications

  • Promote Dynatrace adoption across stakeholder teams and empower end-users with effective troubleshooting techniques

  • Support alert configuration, anomaly detection, and real-time monitoring strategies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, and application teams to align on monitoring needs

  • Identify monitoring improvements and implement best practices using Dynatraces latest features

  • Ensure compliance with DORA standards and internal governance

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in IT infrastructure or monitoring roles

  • Proven expertise in Dynatrace, including installation, configuration, Grail SaaS experience (mandatory)

  • Strong DevOps background with hands-on experience in:

    • Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub

    • Terraform, CI/CD practices

    • Cloud services (AWS, Azure)

  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure: network, server, application architectures

  • Experience supporting virtualized and containerized environments

  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies

  • Previous involvement in compliance-focused environments is a plus
