Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a product-oriented delivery team, driving the functional design and coordination of business requirements in an agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing dependencies, engaging with stakeholders, and shaping business solutions with both IT and business representatives. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity for professionals based in Romania or Serbia.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to define features and ensure functional clarity

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories

• Manage cross-team and cross-system dependencies to ensure coherent end-to-end delivery

• Maintain close collaboration with stakeholders across business and IT units

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, support backlog refinement, and contribute to sprint planning

• Maintain accurate and clear documentation using collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Proven experience in business and functional analysis within complex systems

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering business value

• Strong stakeholder and dependency management capabilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• English language proficiency at C1 level

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance processes, particularly in the claims area

• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog and documentation management

• High-level understanding of common tech stacks (e.g., Java, event-driven architectures)
