DevOps Engineer with Database Expertise

Mission

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), coupled with a solid understanding of database systems. This hybrid role will support the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and database services within a large-scale corporate environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in DevOps, with a track record of automating, monitoring, and managing infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates, primarily within Azure Public Cloud and Azure Local (formerly Azure HCI) ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and other modern DevOps tools.

• Work across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to streamline CI/CD processes and drive infrastructure automation.

• Support and monitor key database systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) from a DevOps perspective, focusing on integration, uptime, and basic performance optimization.

• Optimize infrastructure cost and efficiency while upholding security and compliance standards.

• Serve as a key escalation point for infrastructure and database integration-related incidents.

• Assist project teams with environment setup and technical delivery.

• Contribute to internal documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement efforts.

Your Profile

• +2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

• Proven experience with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Local (Azure HCI), and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

• Strong command of Terraform and ARM templates for resource provisioning and automation.

• Working knowledge of at least one major database system (Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra) from an infrastructure/integration standpoint.

• Solid understanding of operating systems, particularly Windows (Linux experience is a plus).

• Experience navigating complex, large-scale enterprise IT environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
