DevOps Engineer

About the role
Were looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Core Banking team. Youll build and maintain applications based on Oracle technologies for the banking sector. The role involves handling complex assignments from start to finish, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems for information processing and management.

• Support urgent operational and analytic needs.

• Contribute to architecture and software development.

• Translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Use open-source tools, coding, and scripting to create custom workflows.

• Collaborate with the team on infrastructure, security, and development challenges.

• Test and improve code, processes, and deployments for efficiency and reliability.

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.

• Strong Linux experience (Windows a plus).

• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python; PowerShell is a plus).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.

• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab preferred; Git, Jenkins, Azure are a plus).

• Programming knowledge (Go, C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Database experience (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL is a plus).

• Understanding of HA architecture and backup processes.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile development.
