Position: AI Solutions Architect (B2B / Freelancer Contract)

Location: Remote open to candidates based in the European Union, Serbia, or Moldova

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join their Agentic AI practice. This role requires deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to design, implement, and scale Agentic AI systems and intelligent automation solutions tailored to enterprise clients.

You will play a pivotal role in identifying high-value AI use cases, assessing feasibility, and leading proof-of-concept and pilot projects that demonstrate measurable business value. Acting as both a strategist and a hands-on architect, you will design comprehensive AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructures, leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Fabric.

This is a highly collaborative position requiring strong client engagement, solution leadership, and technical delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate combines vision, architecture design skills, and hands-on experience building AI-driven systems that transform how businesses operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business needs, identify high-value AI opportunities, and define solution strategies.

• Design, develop, and deploy intelligent agent architectures using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, and related Microsoft AI technologies.

• Lead discovery workshops to assess feasibility and define technical and architectural roadmaps.

• Create detailed architectural designs that integrate AI systems seamlessly into clients existing infrastructures.

• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept initiatives to validate AI solutions and demonstrate tangible business impact.

• Deliver pilot implementations, collect feedback, and refine solutions for usability, scalability, and performance.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and client stakeholders.

• Oversee end-to-end AI solution deliveryfrom design through development, testing, and deployment.

• Ensure architectural alignment with clients business goals, compliance standards, and operational requirements.

• Drive implementation of Agentic Process Automation and intelligent systems to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, ML specialists, and product teams to deliver integrated, production-ready AI solutions.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Stay informed of the latest AI and cloud trends, introducing innovative ideas and methodologies into active projects.

• Document technical designs, workflows, and specifications; present architectural concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client forums as a trusted AI advisor.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 510 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in enterprise environments.

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Data Scientist Associate, or Power Platform Fundamentals.

• Deep technical expertise in AI, ML, and data analytics, with strong proficiency in Python, R, or Java.

• Experience designing scalable and reliable AI systems within Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.

• Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools, particularly Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

• Strong understanding of data engineering, model deployment, and system integration principles.

• Proven experience developing and operationalizing AI models and intelligent agents.

• Ability to interpret and manipulate complex datasets to derive actionable insights.

• Demonstrated experience creating architectural blueprints and detailed technical specifications.

• Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools to drive Agentic Process Automation.

• Experience managing end-to-end AI projects from discovery through deployment.

• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of working with both technical and executive audiences.

• Proven experience working in agile, project-driven environments.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Cloud Computing.

• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and integration with enterprise systems.

• Track record of delivering large-scale AI transformation or automation initiatives.

• Experience in pre-sales or technical consulting, with the ability to influence architecture and solution strategy.

• Awareness of emerging AI applications, industry trends, and competitive technologies.
