Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated SAP SD Consultant with a strong technical orientation, particularly in working with IDOCs. The ideal candidate should be eager to work in a dynamic environment, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and be willing to acquire knowledge in adjacent areas such as REST services and ElasticSearch.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to support and optimize SAP SD processes.

• Provide guidance and advice on software design and interface development.

• Work with customer interfaces based on SFTP (file exchange) and REST services.

• Lead workshops with stakeholders (following appropriate training).

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to IDOCs, REST services, and APIs.

• Develop an understanding of End-to-End API solutions, involving multiple systems and processes.

• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure requirements are translated into effective solutions.

Requirements

• Languages: German (mandatory) and English (fluent).

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

• Willingness and ability to lead workshops.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch).

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of SAP SD processes (order/contract/material master data, customer master data).

• Experience with SAP IDOCs.

• Knowledge of REST services, interfaces, and APIs.

• Ability to advise customers on integration and interface development.

• Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of ElasticSearch.

  • Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
