Role Overview
We are looking for a Desktop DevEx Engineer responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing the target-state developer experience across EUC endpoints on both macOS and Windows environments.
The role focuses on standardizing developer workstations, automating developer workspace setup, and ensuring secure and compliant delivery of developer tools and configurations across the organization.
You will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve developer productivity while maintaining strong governance and endpoint security.
Key Responsibilities
Developer Endpoint Engineering

Design and implement processes for allocating, configuring, and maintaining developer workstations on Windows and macOS endpoints

Support developer environments including:

Windows Dev Drive

Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL v2)

Docker Desktop
-
macOS desktop virtualization
-
Developer Workspace Automation
-
Engineer and automate developer workspace setup

Configure developer environments including:

API tokens
-
certificates
-
proxies
-
pipelines
-
environment variables
-
Software Packaging & Deployment
-
Improve and standardize software packaging and deployment processes for SDLC tools and development utilities
-
Support the delivery of developer tooling across enterprise environments
Governance & Tooling Management

Contribute to the creation of governance frameworks for developer tooling, including:
-
package managers for compliant software distribution
-
auto-update frameworks for key developer tools (IDEs, utilities)
-
endpoint security controls to prevent unauthorized executables
-
Security & Operations
-
Support the design of secure elevated access models for developer devices
-
Collaborate with engineering, security, and run-the-bank teams to transition solutions into long-term operational support

Coordinate rollouts, documentation, and user communication for DevEx changes in UAT and production environments
