Software Developer in Test

We are looking for a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our partner's team on a B2B contract basis. This is a FULL REMOTE role for a professional passionate about test automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement of software delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript (preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Playwright capabilities, including:
  • Session storage handling
  • CodeGen
  • Reporting
  • Web locator strategies (XPath/CSS selectors)
• Experience designing, implementing, and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar tools).
• Working knowledge of API test automation, including:
  • REST APIs
  • Request/response validation
  • Basic assertions
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows and version control practices.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot within VS Code.
• Experience with defect management and test tracking tools such as JIRA and XRay.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, including the ability to provide clear status updates and reports to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of basic automation metrics, KPIs, and ROI calculations related to test automation initiatives.
