About the job Head of Sales

The role is focused on building a best-in-class sales organization, supporting Datagram by hiring, developing, coaching, and inspiring our sales team on new business growth to help achieve our ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit an A-Team to support Datagrams growth and velocity.
  • Supporting his team on key moments: closing key deals, unlocking situations before they blow up,
  • Monitor performance and forecasting, to ensure individuals and team meet the targets.
  • Develop sales core competencies (training, coaching) and increase efficiency/quality of the sales cycle conversion rate (pitch, objections, training, sales funnel optimization)
  • Sales strategy and organizational inputs: geographical deployment, new segments to address, organizational choices

Requirements and skills

  • A proven successful sales leader with experience hiring, scaling and managing sales teams within a fast-growing environment
  • Track record on SAAS start-up to scale-up environment
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing sales budgets and forecasts
  • Excellent presentation and written skills
  • Proven experience in developing strategies to remove friction points and increase deal velocity and size
