Sphinx Labs is building AI agents that automate compliance workflows across AML, KYC, KYB, and transaction monitoring. Their systems operate inside browsers, APIs, and internal tools, replacing manual analyst work. Customers across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Latin America use Sphinx to automate up to 90% of compliance workflows and reduce costs by up to 4x. The company operates in a $50B market with minimal innovation and has not lost a deal to competitors to date.

The Role

This is a founder-level GTM role working directly with the CEO across sales, product, operations, and growth. The position is designed for a strategic generalist who can operate across functions and build systems from zero to one.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with the CEO to shape go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Support sales efforts including closing deals and running client interactions
  • Drive product launches and expansion into new regions
  • Build and scale operational systems across marketing, product, and customer success
  • Develop partnerships and manage key relationships
  • Contribute to hiring and team scaling across GTM and operations
  • Operate across functions, shifting between sales, product, and operational work as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a fast-growing startup, fintech, or similar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and make decisions with limited structure
  • Creative thinking and willingness to take risks in marketing and outreach strategies
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco and work onsite

Nice to Have

  • Experience in AI, fintech, or enterprise sales environments
  • Prior GTM, operations, or chief of staff type experience
  • Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Understanding of what works in early-stage startup growth
