The Role

This is a founding backend engineering role where you'll build the core infrastructure for document intelligence and multimodal AI workflows. You'll own systems end-to-end, from architecture and design through deployment and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Design and build core backend systems and infrastructure from the ground up
• Architect scalable, reliable services for document processing and AI pipelines
• Own the full lifecycle of backend systems from design through production operations
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience
• Proven track record building production backend systems at scale
• Strong proficiency in Python (required); C++ or Rust is a plus
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
