Statement of Work — Electrical Engineer II (Concord)

Voorhees, NJ. 7-10 years experience. HealthCare, Science & Technology & Commercial MEP group. Full-service MEP/FP engineering, energy consulting, design-build, construction management and commissioning for commercial, healthcare, laboratory, institutional markets. Opportunity for growth into project management role.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations, single line diagrams, sizing of electrical components, short circuit analysis, technical specifications
• For licensed PEs, perform as Engineer of Record signing and sealing drawings
• Review projects for departmental standards, client requirements, budget compliance
• Design, layout, checking of electrical systems drawings per NEC, IBC, NFPA codes
• Develop specifications, assign area classifications, review shop drawings
• Perform site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings, field construction support
• Provide direction to less experienced Engineers in Training
• Assist PM/Project Engineer in proposal development, client management, project execution

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering
• 7-10 years proven progression in electrical engineering and building electrical systems design
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit and BIM
• PE licensure preferred (or working toward)
• Knowledge of local, state, national code requirements
• Experience with lighting and electrical load analysis software
• USGBC LEED knowledge a plus
