Overview

The Forward Deploy AI Engineer embeds directly with enterprise and mid-market customers to drive measurable business outcomes. Operating at the intersection of product, growth, and AI-driven search strategy, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You will function as a strategist, operator, and consultant—owning adoption, AI visibility across search platforms, and revenue impact for customers.

This role sits within a venture-backed AI-driven search optimization and marketing infrastructure startup operating in a high-growth category.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end success for a portfolio of enterprise and growth-stage customers

• Embed directly with marketing, growth, and SEO teams as a hands-on operator

• Develop and execute AI search optimization and content strategies

• Identify keyword gaps, competitive insights, and AI visibility opportunities

• Launch and optimize content within customer CMS environments

• Monitor performance across AI-driven search ecosystems and generative platforms

• Translate performance data into actionable strategies that drive traffic, pipeline, and revenue

• Drive product adoption and workflow integration across customer teams

• Partner with Sales to identify and support account expansion opportunities

• Capture structured customer feedback to influence product development

• Develop case studies tied to measurable business outcomes

Core Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in SEO, growth marketing, content strategy, or customer implementation roles

• Strong understanding of search strategy, demand generation, and marketing analytics

• Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and deliver successful implementations

• Experience operating within B2B SaaS or marketing technology environments

• Ability to translate data into clear execution plans

• Highly proactive mindset with strong ownership orientation

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience in high-growth startup environments

• Comfortable operating cross-functionally and wearing multiple hats

• Experience interfacing directly with founders and product leadership
