Bridge Engineer

Statement of Work — Bridge Engineer 

Looking for a Bridge Engineer with EI in Longwood, FL. Minimum 2 years structural engineering experience including bridge and transportation structures, miscellaneous structures, and structural building design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans for bridges and transportation structures using MicroStation
• Prepare construction plans for new/modified building structures using Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Develop contract documents: calculation packages, specifications, shop drawing reviews
• Coordinate work activities and provide guidance to supporting staff
• Perform plan reviews and participate in QC/QA process
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Engineer Intern
• 2 years structural design engineering experience preferred
• Proficient with MicroStation; Revit and AutoCAD preferred
• Strong skills in structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design for transportation and building structures
• Diversified knowledge of engineering principles in structural design
