Statement of Work — Roadway Engineer PE 

Full-service, multi-disciplined firm in Longwood, FL. Looking for experienced Roadway PE with 5+ years Post PE Registration Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptual and final design of roadway, highway, interchange, and urban roadway design for public clients
  • Development of horizontal/vertical geometry, plan/profile sheets, typical sections, cross sections, MOT plans, utility adjustment plans
  • Development of design/planning project schedules and budgets
  • Serves as Task Lead supervising design and project progress, coordinating with city/state/county officials
  • Reviews plans and prepares/reviews technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates
  • Supervises less experienced engineers and technical support personnel

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
  • Licensed PE in Florida with 10 years post-Registration experience
  • Proficient in OpenRoads Designer
  • Working knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
  • FDOT project experience preferred
  • Skills: MicroStation, ORD Drainage & Utilities, ICPR, PONDS, Microsoft Office
