About the job Account Executive
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B marketplace modernizing how specialized vehicles and equipment are bought and sold, with a strong focus on public-sector and municipal buyers. The company recently closed its Series A after rapid revenue growth and is scaling its go-to-market team.
The role
This is a full-cycle Account Executive role with a roughly 50/50 inbound/outbound split. You'll own the sale from prospecting and discovery through to closing new logos, working with customers such as fleet managers and public agency decision-makers. The role is remote within a set of target U.S. markets, with regular in-person customer meetings and conference travel.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from sourcing and discovery to closing new business
- Build your own pipeline through outbound prospecting alongside inbound opportunities
- Travel to meet customers in person and build relationship-driven partnerships
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events
- Manage a growing book of business with discipline in your CRM
What we're looking for
- 2–6 years as a full-cycle Account Executive, including outbound prospecting
- Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed startup (required)
- Experience selling to government entities (municipalities).
- Based in Philadelphia, New York City, St. Louis, Nashville, Charlotte, or Miami, and comfortable traveling to customers
- Competitive, independent, low-ego, and excited to be an individual contributor at an early-stage company
- Stable tenure history
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience selling to government or municipal buyers (e.g., public safety, fire departments)
- A track record of fast promotions
- Experience travelling in a sales role.
- Experience selling to an emergency services segment of municipal government.
Compensation
Base salary of $93K–$118K with uncapped commission (OTE approximately $186K–$236K), plus equity.
Interview process
Several short virtual conversations, followed by a final in-person session that includes a practical sales exercise.
