Statement of Work — Drainage Engineer EI (Land Development)

Located in Maitland, FL. Small office with access to resources and projects of a larger firm. Site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects. 1-4 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems
• Analysis and design of cross drains
• Design of stormwater management facilities
• Floodplain compensation analysis
• Design and inspection of BMPs for erosion and sediment control
• Prepare technical documents including drainage reports, pond siting reports, permitting documents
• Prepare construction plans consistent with FDOT standards
• Stormwater permitting with various statewide agencies
• Coordination with other disciplines and meetings with clients

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, 0-4 years experience in highway drainage design
• Registered EI
• Knowledge of FDOT design standards
• Knowledge of MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, ICPR, PONDS ASAD
• ERP permitting requirements with water management districts a plus
• Bridge hydraulics and scour analyses experience a plus
