Statement of Work — Director of Healthcare/Life Sciences (Concord)

Voorhees, NJ. Hybrid (3 days/week). 15-30 years experience. Manage multi-disciplined team for healthcare and life sciences facilities — Acute/Ambulatory Care, Academic/Corporate Research. Opportunity to advance to VP/Department head with bonus/profit-sharing.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, mentoring, team oversight for respective discipline
• Manage overall technical quality and QA/QC process
• Supervise team of direct reports and assigned engineers
• Maintain scheduling of project deadlines and manpower assignments
• Develop bid proposals, contracts, cost estimates
• Provide deep engineering expertise in drawings, designs, specifications, calculations
• Hands-on project management — on time, on budget
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Hire, train, mentor engineering staff; write performance appraisals
• Maintain department budget and revenue projections

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of multi-discipline MEP engineering including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical/IT for healthcare/life sciences
• Knowledge of NFPA, Joint Meeting, FGI, AHJ codes
• Experience with eQUEST, Trane Trace, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
• Strong financial management and business acumen

Qualifications

• PE certification required
• BS Engineering
• 15+ years progressive engineering and managerial experience in critical care/laboratories
