Statement of Work — Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager 

Award-winning multidisciplinary engineering firm est. 1957, HQ Greensboro NC. MEPFP team. Serves education, athletics, commercial, industrial, healthcare, transportation, multifamily, entertainment, water resources. 10-30 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects — timely, budget-compliant, high-quality delivery
• Design and analyze mechanical systems: HVACR, hydronic, plumbing, fire protection
• Perform heating/cooling load calculations for building systems
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, submittals, RFI responses
• Conduct site visits, field measurements, inspections
• Attend coordination meetings with team and clients
• Foster client relationships
• Collaborate on RFQs, project interviews, presentations

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years consulting engineering experience
• PE license with eligibility in NC, SC, or VA
• In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE, building codes, HVAC, boilers, chillers, duct sizing, piping
• Commissioning, plumbing, fire protection experience a plus
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam
