About the Role

This is a full-cycle Account Executive role focused on mid-market government contractors. You'll own prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiations, and closing while helping customers maximize value after implementation. This is a true hunter role for someone who enjoys outbound sales and building pipeline. Contract values typically range from $55,000 to $130,000+, with sales cycles averaging approximately 60 days and a monthly quota of $150,000 ARR.

What You'll Own

  • Run full-cycle sales from outbound prospecting through close
  • Conduct discovery calls and customized product demonstrations
  • Build relationships with procurement, capture, and operations leaders
  • Achieve monthly quota targets of $150,000 ARR
  • Partner with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure successful implementations
  • Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams
  • Develop repeatable sales playbooks based on customer success

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Track record of closing deals in the $50,000–$150,000 range
  • Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts with 60+ day sales cycles
  • Government contracting experience or strong SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated outbound prospecting and pipeline generation ability
  • Based in Washington, DC area — willing to work in-person 4 days/week in Arlington
  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States

Target Backgrounds

Strong signals include understanding of government contracting, knowledge of AI and emerging technology trends, experience selling government contracting software, and a strong outbound and hunter mentality.
