Early-stage healthcare AI company building an agentic command center for clinical decision-making. Rapid growth with over $1M revenue in first 4 months and a small, high-caliber engineering team from top institutions and companies.

The Role

Backend engineer building and scaling AI-native infrastructure for a healthcare decision platform. High-ownership role architecting systems that process clinical data at scale and directly impact real-time healthcare decisions.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy AI-native backend systems and APIs
• Scale infrastructure to support high-volume clinical data processing
• Build secure, reliable systems handling sensitive patient data
• Drive product iterations based on real customer feedback
• Work directly with founders, clinicians, and engineers
• Own backend systems end to end with strong autonomy

What We're Looking For

• Strong Python proficiency (hard requirement)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI workflows
• Experience building backend systems and APIs in production
• Ability to operate independently and ship quickly
