Daydreamer Outsourcing LLC invites applications for the position of Financial Analyst II for our top client in Nashville, TN. We are on the hunt for a dedicated individual with a keen interest in the healthcare industry and a focus on revenue cycle management. This role involves delivering operational and financial analysis to our SSC operational unit leaders and senior executives. Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle business operations, methods, and procedures will be essential. The Financial Analyst II will operate independently while also working synergistically with the team to prepare variance analysis reports, and key financial metrics, and help business unit leaders effectively manage information to enhance departmental efficiency and performance. Responsibilities

  • Assist in documenting workflows, policies, procedures, report specifications, and other related materials as required.
  • Managing and supervising reporting queues and requests, while meeting internal KPIs
  • Identifying, extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and/or modeling data from various domains
  • Creating and maintaining standard reports to support operational and developmental requirements.
  • Utilizing technology to devise efficient solutions that align with organizational objectives across the service center.
  • Consolidating, interpreting, and presenting data in reports/dashboards to Executives, Team Leads, and Individual End Users, with a focus on Acquisition and Financial Information
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly MORs
  • Forecasting uncompensated care and performing variance analysis for accounts receivable and net revenue performance
  • Monitoring specified reports and collaborating with relevant departments to ensure AR is accurately reflected at month-end.
  • Developing and maintaining exception-based report generation across all departments
  • Assisting in the conversion of business reporting requirements into development terms
  • Collaborating with the Manager to manage information effectively and improve departmental performance.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related Business field is essential; work experience of similar nature may be considered as a substitute.
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance or revenue cycle management, preferably within the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Basic SQL and/or Business Objects query writing experience would be advantageous.
  • Must have experience in a hospital setting
