Job Description

Daydreamer Outsourcing LLC is a recruitment agency in the manufacturing industry, we are currently hiring an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for our client based in Houston, Texas

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to specified requirements.

• Interpret blueprints, production job orders, and related instructions to understand product specifications and tooling requirements.
• Adjust machine settings and tool controls, maintaining dimensions within specified tolerances.
• Inspect and measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance; identify potential equipment issues and report them promptly to avoid production disruptions.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of machinists, production workers, and engineers to ensure efficiency and quality.

• Uphold all safety protocols and workplace policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and setting up CNC milling machines.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

• Strong knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain precision tolerances.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong technical communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Proficient reading skills for understanding and interpreting blueprints and work instructions in English.
• Solid mathematical aptitude for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong sense of urgency, able to adapt to changing priorities swiftly.

• Ability to work as a part of a team, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
